A while ago I blogged about The Rise of BlogBots, dinky webcrawlers that search blogs that allow comments and then spam the comments with ads for Viagra, and what not. Since then SpamBots have been swarming that post, and only that post! So much that it began to seem very odd. Can anyone guess why the SpamBots were attacted to this post? The Rise of BlogBots…
ANSWER: I think it’s because I used the word Viagra. I’m guessing that this post having used that word twice now will start attracting them too. Let’s see what happens.

In case anyone is still following this post. It turns out that this post HASN’T been swarmed by the SpamBots as I thought would happen… And still the other post “Rise of SpamBots” is getting hit day after day. We still don’t know what’s attracting them. Stay tuned.
