Get your grill on!

Nothing says summer fun like a BBQ. If you are like most Manhattanites, the requisite patio with grill is just as elusive as fresh air in city during the hot summer.
Gyu-kaku, japanaese for “bulls horn” is a California based BBQ chain with a focus on charbroiling your food for a simple clean flavor with the help of marinades that you grill yourself at the table. The new restaurant in Cooper Square is modern, sleek, clean, spacious and even has banquets with funky shiny metal curtains. The food is sublime, simple and fun. We ordered the Shogun course menu for 4. The meal consisted of approximately 15 items with the standouts being the Kobe Kalabi, Kobe Toro Steak and buttery Chilean Sea Bass. Should it come to anyone’s surprise that one of the dessert options is smores!?
