Missed the List
Speaking of catch up reading, here is one issue I might pass on: Artforum’s late and insistent dissection of Zidane’s folly via Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno’s art goggles. I think the rest of the world has moved on to other things. I’m sure the art world will continue to chew the fat on this one for some years to come, ‘the culture of spectacle, there it is again!’. The art world is sometimes so obsessed about the ‘culture of spectacle.’
