I always wondered what would be the first direct-from-artist cd that I would buy off of a myspace page and after browsing many mediocre band pages I thought it would never happen.. That was before I discovered Paz Lenchantin’s Myspace page about 2 weeks before my vacation. After listening to just one clip on her mypsace page, a live one at that, I found myself clicking on the “add to cart button” for Songs For Luci, her latest DIY album dedicated to her brother. The album’s a bit short, but I enjoyed it very much -it quickly became the anthem for my road trip on the road from Las Vegas to The Valley of Fire. Luckily for me, Paz Lenchantin will be playing in New York City in a couple of days with Entrance. They’re another group I may consider buying their music off of their myspace page. If you dig their stuff I’ll see you there.
